Lost my job yesterday Now the car won’t start The job I didn’t hate near as much as the “waking up” part Well, I guess I’ll need to find some productive way for me to occupy my mind. But, all-in-all I’d have to say I can’t complain, though, I’ll certainly try But there’s folks out there got it worse than I. So, if ya ask how I’ve been, I’ll just wind up saying I can’t complain. Now, people of this planet Struggle in many-a fashion If they don’t instagram it.. does it even happen? Are there foreign drones above ready to explode everyone you love? If there’s one thing that I know.. Ya can’t complain, let me tell ya why Cause there’s folks out there got it worse than I. So when I ask how ya been? Let’s just start by saying I can’t complain

Heavy Heart 05:23
If not for my Heavy Heart carrying the load these blue nights would be more than I could stand and I know that my whole world would fall apart if not for my Heavy Heart Have you been in love? Was your love true? Did it turn your Heavy Heart of red all black and blue? Do you hurt like me? If you say you do.. well I'm sure right now, you're wondering how you'll even make it through It don't have to be so dire like you're stranded all alone. I know I wouldn't make it on my own.. If not for my Heavy Heart Have you been down and out with no will to live? Did they take all they could take from you? Did you give all you could give? When two weeks pass, are your pockets dry? Are there bills to pay that feel like they won't be paid before you die? It don't have to be so dire like you're stranded all alone. I know I wouldn't make it on my own.. If not for my Heavy Heart

Date Night 03:39
Honey, ain’t it funny, the way these winter months keep us down? Well, tonight let’s dress in our Sunday’s Best, go out and paint the town! We can hit the pub, maybe get some grub, and come home real late.. Something tells me, this is gonna be a good date. We’ll ask the band to play some Willie & I’ll wear my boots with heels. If you’ve got the money, honey, I’ve got the wheels. When the band tears down, and we’re still around & the barkeeps irate.. Something tells me, this is gonna be a good date. Ya gotta treat yourself & make it all feel worthwhile. Bitch about your boss. Forget the cost. Pretend you’re just buying a smile! When ya wake tomorrow with your head all banging, Hope ya remember this song I’m singing.. Money ain’t nothing but blood and sweat & I’d give it away if I could only get One Night with my gal on the Town But all the money spent.. we really should stay home Thursday’s rent.. Monday’s the phone Makes me wonder why we work our fingers to the bone.. Come to think, guess we could just stay in Take a rain check ’til next Paycheck, go out and try ‘er again We got some beer in the garage sitting next to the stink bait. Something tells me this is gonna be a good date. We’ll put on a Willie record & plant our asses here. Perfectly content watching the bubbles in our beer. When the records done, we’ll grab another one, drop the needle & just wait Something tells me this is gonna be a good date. Ya gotta treat yourself & make it all feel worthwhile. Bitch about your boss. Forget the cost. Pretend you’re just buying a smile! When ya wake tomorrow with your head all banging, Hope ya remember this song I’m singing.. Money ain’t nothing but blood and sweat & I’d give it away if I could only get One Night with my gal on the Town Money ain’t nothin but blood and sweat but it’s all gone, and there ain’t none left so it’s One Night with my gal on the couch

Outta Sight 03:56
Don’t ask why it is that I’ve been drinking or why I’m at the tavern til they’re wiping down the bar or say “Don’t you see what it’d do to me if one night you wouldn’t make it driving home in our car” Please, Don’t ask how my day at work was put on my boots and the morning news was more than I could bare put some music on & sing along.. before I know my workday is gone and I’m back to the bar to drown my cares But your stars aligned, and now you’re out of sight. You packed all your belongings and you sailed away that night, but you said that when I make it off this rock, I’d still have your heart. even from afar.. I’m just staring at the stars Friends tell me they wish they’d see me smiling a smile won’t hide what’s in my eyes - she left me here alone. But I keep workin’ cause I know soon.. I’m gonna meet you on that moon, so far I’m just staring at the stars
